  • New website for Reflexology by Yas

Pelekan Design recently had the privilege of working with Yas, a talented mobile reflexologist based in London. Yas approached us with a goal to revamp her existing website, creating a more engaging and cohesive online presence that truly reflects her brand. We began by designing the new site in Adobe XD, focusing on a clean, user-friendly layout that aligns with Yas’s vision. After presenting the designs and fine-tuning them to Yas's satisfaction, we proceeded to build the site on her preferred platform, Wix.com , where her old site was originally hosted. In just 3 days, we built the new site, and it went live on the 4th day—completing the project within a week and meeting the client's deadline. Take a look at the before and after  of the redesigned website, and if you’re interested in upgrading your own website, we’d love to help. www.reflexologybyyas.co.uk Before: After: Reach out to us at Nick@pelekandesign.com .

This project was a complete in-house design and build, crafted to meet the unique needs of the business and offer customers a seamless and enjoyable online experience. Custom Shopify Design: Tailored to Perfection We designed and built the website from the ground up using Shopify, ensuring it was perfectly tailored to Bathroom Goals’ brand and business goals. With a clean, modern design, the site offers easy navigation and an intuitive interface, making it easier for customers to explore the wide range of bathroom solutions available. Over 300 Products and Variables at Your Fingertips The site now boasts over 300 products and their respective variables, allowing customers to explore an extensive selection of bathroom fittings, fixtures, and accessories. The product pages are designed with detailed descriptions and high-quality imagery, so customers can make informed purchasing decisions. Custom Price Calculator: Streamlining the Quote Process One of the standout features of the new website is the custom price calculator. This innovative tool allows customers to input their bathroom specifications and get an estimated quote based on the products and services they require. Not only does this provide transparency, but it also helps Bathroom Goals’ team prepare more accurate quotes by capturing relevant customer information. Once the form is submitted, the client’s contact details are sent directly to the team, allowing them to follow up and offer personalized service. Showcasing Success: Case Studies, Videos, and Photography We wanted to give visitors a deeper insight into the quality of Bathroom Goals' work, so we created a dedicated section featuring detailed case studies. Each case study highlights a different bathroom project, with professional photography and video content showcasing the end result. These case studies not only serve as a powerful portfolio but also help prospective clients envision how Bathroom Goals can transform their own bathrooms. SEO Optimization: Reaching More Customers A major focus of the project was ensuring that the website was fully optimized for search engines. We implemented extensive SEO strategies to improve search rankings and ensure that Bathroom Goals could be easily found by potential customers searching for bathroom installation services in London. This optimization is vital for driving traffic to the site and growing the business. Instagram Shop Integration: A Seamless Shopping Experience To make shopping even easier for customers, we connected the website to Instagram Shop. This integration allows visitors to browse and purchase products directly through Instagram, providing a smooth, omnichannel shopping experience. Bathroom Goals can now showcase their products on social media, linking seamlessly back to their website, where customers can buy with just a few clicks. A Happy Client, A Bright Future We are thrilled with the result of this collaboration, and most importantly, so is our client. Bathroom Goals is extremely happy with their new website, which is already helping to elevate their brand and streamline their customer interactions. We look forward to continuing to build our relationship with the client and supporting their growth in the competitive London market. • Branding Survival Guide: What to Know Before Your First Visit to a Creative Agency

Overview: How can you best prepare for your initial meeting with a creative agency? What questions should you expect them to ask, and what key information will you need to provide about the brand you’re looking to create? Here’s everything you need to know to ensure you’re fully equipped for that first conversation. Let’s start by clarifying that in this article, we’ll primarily focus on companies creating their brand for the first time. However, this content could also be helpful for anyone considering visiting a creative agency to breathe new life into their business through rebranding. Now, let’s explore a hypothetical scenario. You’re a new entrepreneur, you’ve developed your business idea, perhaps even found the physical space if you’re opening a store, and handled all the bureaucratic steps for launching the company. But there’s one crucial thing missing – your brand identity. And no, a brand identity isn’t just a logo. So, you begin the search for the right agency that can bring your vision to life and make your brand stand out in an overcrowded market. Your anxiety is entirely understandable. You might be thinking, “What if I spend all this money on something that doesn’t matter? Should I just buy something cheap online for now? What if I get scammed and end up paying a lot for something that isn’t worth it? In moments of internal confusion like these, we’re here to take you out of the tough spot and set the stage for you. What questions will a truly dedicated creative agency ask, one that genuinely cares about crafting a strong and consistent brand identity for you? How to Prepare for Your Meeting with a Creative Agency First and foremost, it’s a good idea to be clear on your brand’s mission and vision. What do we mean by this? When we talk about the brand's mission, we refer to the present. Essentially, you need to define and communicate the reason your brand exists, what you offer, and how you aim to serve your clients. Your mission is the foundation of every action your business takes and reflects how it contributes to people's lives or the market. On the other hand, the brand’s vision is all about its future and how you envision it. This is your long-term aspiration—the image you have of success and the impact you want your company to make on the world or within your industry. A designer needs to fully understand these aspects because they help build the right visual language that emotionally connects your potential clients with your brand. Know Your Target Audience Equally important is having a clear understanding of your target audience. You might think you can appeal to everyone, but... you're not French fries, and even those don’t appeal to everybody! Seriously though, take the time to narrow down and identify your true audience. If the tone of your brand doesn’t align with your target audience, guess what? It’s not going to resonate with them. So, be mindful when defining your audience, and make sure to explain in detail to the designer who exactly your brand is aiming to reach. Additionally, it’s always a good idea to be aware of your competition—companies similar to yours offering the same services. Knowing what others are doing gives you the power to guide the designer who will craft your brand identity. While a professional designer will naturally research your competitors before starting the creative process, you—being the expert in your field—can bring valuable insights if you’ve already done a bit of research yourself. This is where the brands you admire come in. Studying the competition isn’t just about finding where you can stand out but also about seeing what you might want to incorporate into your own brand. It would be incredibly helpful and practical to have a list of brands you look up to, along with the features that attract you to them. What aspects of these brands would you like to see in yours? You don’t necessarily need to bring a physical list to the table—just keeping them in mind for the meeting works too. The designer will take note of these influences and consider them in the process. Drum roll for suspense And now… the cost. Don’t freak out. Really, don’t. You might hear some staggering prices, but remember the value behind what you’re purchasing. The agency creating your brand identity is also building an entire branding system, complete with a unified design that ties everything together. From business cards to folders, typography to brand voice, the design studio will be creating a cohesive story for you. Essentially, they’re constructing a house where your company will live for years to come. This house needs a strong foundation—otherwise, it might collapse, and you’ll be trapped inside. Because not everyone has your best interest at heart, be cautious when choosing your designer. Make sure to meet them, get a feel for their mindset, review some of their previous work, and pay attention to how they ask questions. Don’t worry—it’ll be clear whether they genuinely care about your brand or are just in it for the money. And remember, when something that requires substantial effort, like a brand identity, is dirt cheap… chances are something is seriously wrong. And now, I’m speaking directly to you, the seasoned entrepreneur who has decided it’s time for a rebrand. Just because you’ve done it once doesn’t mean it was done perfectly or that you won’t make the same mistakes again—or worse, fall for the same traps. As we mentioned earlier, a creative agency isn’t only helpful when you’re building a brand from scratch but also when you’re looking to rebrand—revamping your existing identity. Don’t forget to gather and bring all your business’s existing assets, including the original files for… pretty much everything. You need to have a well-organized folder where everything is clearly labeled to ensure a smooth process with no confusion. Trust us, every little detail is important. These assets give the designer a comprehensive view of your current brand, and from there, they can build upon that foundation to create a new identity that’s worthy of its predecessor. Finally, be open to all creative ideas and make sure to communicate this to your designer. Designers often feel hesitant to suggest something bold or unconventional because they fear how the client might react. If you’re an open-minded person, ready to embrace the future and whatever it brings, make sure to express that and give them the freedom to create something truly unique, original, and yours. Remember, your company’s branding is the visual expression of its soul , reflecting everything that defines both the business and you as its owner.

  • New Branding For The Hook Club

Designing the Logo and Brand for The Hook Club: Manchester's Premier Padel Destination When tasked with creating the brand identity for The Hook Club , a new padel club in the heart of Manchester, we knew this project would be an exciting blend of creativity, strategy, and passion for sports. Padel is rapidly gaining popularity in the UK, and The Hook Club aims to be at the forefront of this trend, offering a vibrant, inclusive space for both seasoned players and newcomers. The Vision Behind The Hook Club The Hook Club was conceived with a vision of bringing the dynamic, fast-paced sport of padel to a wider audience in Manchester. The club's founders wanted a brand that reflected the energy and excitement of the game, while also embodying the welcoming and community-focused atmosphere they were committed to creating. From the outset, it was clear that The Hook Club needed a brand identity that would stand out in a competitive market. The brand had to capture the essence of padel—its agility, strategy, and social nature—while also resonating with Manchester's unique vibe. Crafting the Brand Identity 1. The Name and Concept The name "The Hook Club" is inspired by one of the key shots in padel—the hook shot—which requires skill, precision, and a bit of flair. This concept of blending technical ability with style became the foundation of the club’s brand identity. 2. Logo Design The logo is often the first touchpoint for a brand, so it needed to be distinctive, modern, and immediately recognizable. For The Hook Club, the goal was to create a logo that encapsulates the movement and flow of padel. The final design features a sleek, stylized “hook” shape that subtly resembles the curve of a padel racket. The color palette was chosen to reflect the vibrant and energetic nature of the sport, while also being modern and fresh. A bold combination of electric blue and neon green was selected, symbolizing both the intensity of the game and the inclusive, friendly environment of the club. 3. Typography and Brand Elements The typography for The Hook Club was selected to complement the dynamic nature of the logo. A modern, sans-serif font was chosen for its clean lines and contemporary feel, making it versatile across various mediums, from digital platforms to on-site signage. Additional brand elements include abstract patterns inspired by the net and court lines, which are used throughout the club's visual identity. These elements help create a cohesive and engaging brand experience across all touchpoints. Bringing The Brand to Life With the logo and brand elements in place, the next step was to bring The Hook Club’s brand to life across various platforms. The website, social media channels, and promotional materials were all designed to reflect the club's energetic and welcoming vibe. The branding extends to the interior design of the club, where the color scheme and patterns are used to create an immersive experience for members and visitors. The Result: A Brand That Resonates The Hook Club now boasts a brand identity that not only stands out in Manchester's growing padel scene but also resonates with its target audience. The bold colors, dynamic logo, and modern typography come together to create a brand that is both memorable and inviting. The Hook Club is more than just a sports venue; it's a community hub where people can connect, have fun, and improve their game. The brand reflects this ethos, ensuring that every interaction with The Hook Club, whether online or in person, is engaging and positive. Conclusion Designing the logo and brand for The Hook Club was a rewarding experience that allowed us to blend creativity with strategic thinking. The result is a brand that not only captures the essence of padel but also reflects the spirit of Manchester—a city known for its energy, diversity, and passion for sports. We’re excited to see how The Hook Club will grow and thrive, and we're proud to have played a role in shaping its identity. Whether you’re a padel enthusiast or someone looking to try out the sport, The Hook Club is the place to be.
